Haven't had Internet access

but I've been reading Cory Maye. My parents and I are in Divide, CO, waiting for Luke to land. His ETA kept getting pushed back, but word is he'll stroll into the events center at Ft. Carson at about 2:30 a.m. (That no doubt means we'll get there at 1:30 a.m. & he won't stroll in until 4:30 or 5.) Things have been spectacularly hectic. I had to work a bunch of shifts at the pub so I could take 2 weeks off to come welcome Luke home. Now I'm here in CO with no readily available Internet access. I had to travel down the mountain 25 minutes to piggy-back onto the hospital's free wi-fi to write this entry. I was also going to email my comments to installments I through IV of Cory Maye until I realized that I do not have my comments. Damn. I rushed down the mountain so fast so I could get back, clean Luke's house, check on my dad who is feeling like hell (he threw out his back packing the car for the trip, compounded now by what I suspect is altitude sickness -- made worse by the Vicodin & Codeine he's taking for his back), and left my hard drive back at the house. But I am working every day. Every day I've been here I've put in more than an hour a day. I will continue to do so & I will email when I can.

I also just uploaded some photos I took today in Luke's neighborhood: http://www.flickr.com/photos/laurenallen/. I have a ton more, but will have to upload them in due course. (On the trip down here just right now I took at least 100!)

I'm now headed back up. The next time I write Luke will be home!!!
